Powder room before and after

This is the first before and after I want to post for our new home. It’s been almost 1 year since we moved in and we have done a ton of projects but most of them I feel like they are still in progress even though we painted, bought some new decor they just don’t feel complete. However, this powder room is done... until I get bored with it and have to redecorate.

Here is the before.

Our powder room is very small, so maybe that’s why it’s done because I could only do so much. But we knew we weren’t getting into new floors just yet. One because of our budget with so many other projects going on and two because we have never done tile floors before and I’m sure it would have taken us weeks where as this redo took 1weekend. Here is the after!

I am in love with the paint color, it’s called needlepoint navy by Sherwin Williams. I am currently looking for something else to paint this color.

This curtain is actually a vintage towel from my great great grandmothers trosseau which is a group of household items given to a bride when she gets married. They were from Italy and I guess this was the thing to do! I jus thought it was too beautiful not to use somewhere.

Some subtle bathroom humor..

That’s it, nothing cost a lot. I already had the floating shelf, I just gave it fresh coat of paint. The mirror is from home goods and so are more of the decor items. These little framed post cards are from my vfavorite vacation spot, St. Simons Island.

Stay tuned for more updates.
