34 days...

Hi and welcome to my brand new blog. The purpose of this blog is to document my life with my husband, Nick and our adventure of buying a house and fixing it up, all while working, playing and living our normal lives at the same time.
Here is a little about Nick and myself, we love to cook and eat so that’s why food is in the blog title, we got married 10 months ago so obviously love and our house needs a lot of work so that’s where the home or more like sweat equity comes in. We go to settlement for this new house in 34 days but for the last five months we have been living with our parents separated, so that has been less that ideal. Although we have been glad to have somewhere to stay and save money, it’s been long enough and we are ready to get into our new place!
The house we picked is going to be great, I’m going to post some pictures below as befores and I hope to post some room design ideas and inspos over the next month. I’m so excited to be starting in a new house and decorating but we have more rooms than our last house so it’s a little overwhelming to start planning. Anyway here’s some pics!

So that’s what’s going on in there now, it really has potential but right now there’s just so many things that are not our style like the orange and gold den or those awful curtains in the living room or like any of the stenciling (there’s a lot) So I will be checking in and I can’t wait to be able to have some before and afters up here but for now it’s just planning.
